Finding Beauty in the Ordinary Photography is a Pensacola based Family, Maternity, Newborn Portrait, and Birth photographer {specializing in in-home Newborn Portraiture and on location Family Portrait photography}. Though based in Pensacola, they are licensed to photograph all over NW Florida and the Alabama Gulf Coast.

Finding Beauty In the Ordinary Photography specializes in photography that captures your family’s connections, emotions, and moments in a fun, natural way. Their style of photography is best described as light, airy, and simple. They encourage families (and especially children) to be themselves, relax, and play in order to best capture their natural expressions and joy. Your portrait session should be an enjoyable experience for everyone – not a chore! In all of their sessions, they strive for the main emphasis of the portrait to be the baby, child, or family itself. This is why, when photographing newborns, they prefer to photograph on a cream or light colored background with only the simplest of props – hats, wraps, or little pants – or au naturale.

Finding Beauty In the Ordinary Photography  is also proud to be able to take the entire session to their clients – lights, props, wraps, etc. This allows new parents to not worry about packing up their newborn, no worrying about clothes getting wrinkled in the car (or needing a change). They also find that being in the family’s home helps to make everyone from the new baby to older siblings, to the parents more relaxed. It’s the same thing with traveling to their clients for family portraits on the beach or in one of our beautiful parks – they bring everything we need so they get to just show up and smile.

Finding Beauty in Ordinary Photography doesn’t want to just find the everyday beauty – they want to showcase it!
